Raccoons found the dog food!

I had a tub of old dry dog food to go in the next trip to the dump. Unfortunately, the raccoons found it first. I’ll let them enjoy tonight, but it’s going away tomorrow. It’s pretty dark out and it’s starting to rain, so they’ll have full tummys tonight. Looks like five of them, a big mama and four kits. The kits are probably 3 or 4 months old (usually born in April or May and stay with mom for about a year). They’re very cute but can be a real pest and nasty too.

Don’t throw those dry dog food bags away. Make rope out of em! The material is extremely strong. I imagine if it is left outside in the sun and rain for ling periods of time it will deteriorate, but I will experiment with that.
