Question by The Big Cheese: How do I keep my cat away from my Christmas tree?
My cat is obsessed with the Christmas tree, and when he goes up there he knocks a bunch of ornaments down. I spray him in the face with water when he does it and he goes away, but he just keeps coming back. We tried putting foil around the tree because cats don’t like stepping on it, but he doesn’t even care. What are some other remedies I can try to keep him off of it?

The Stray Cats sing Stray Cat Strut for all you cat lovers. Please spay and neuter your pets – help cut down on the strays and the millions of animals put down every year. Feb. 28th is Spay Day USA 2012. Spay Day was started by the Doris Day Animal Foundation. DDAF’s Spay Day USA has been responsible for a landmark one million spay/neuters since the beginning of the program, helping to overcome the tradegy of euthanizing millions of unwanted pets each year. Each year 6 to 8 million dogs and cats enter US shelters. Between 3 to 4 milliion are euthanized because there are not enough homes for them. Please spay/neuter your pets. Help end this deplorable cycle of pet over population.

Question by .:.Meg.:.: How do you get the smell of cat pee out of your carpet?
My roommates cat must not understand what the hell a cat box is for and now the house smells like cat pee. How do I get the smell out of the carpet? I know using a cup of white vinegar in the wash with your cloths gets the smell outta your cloths but idk about carpet. I have tried the pet stain and order remover but it didn’t work.

Best answer:

Answer by jmprince01
I have used a product called Natures Miracle that I got at the pet store. You have to completely saturate the carpet with it so it gets down into the pad too. If you do it right, the pee smell will go away. It worked for us. Good luck.
